I AM Well. Finding Wellness That Works For You!
Time & Location
About the Event
I Am Well. is a women's event and will be the major kick-off for our 2019 year of Flying Well. It will introduce a variety of different approaches to finding, maintaining, and improving wellness. There will be local, women-owned businesses that offer services and products geared towards supporting a healthy lifestyle, and like all Fuse Her Fly events, this is a fully female production as 99% of the event is curated, staffed, and produced by women within the community. We will provide women with different resources of wellness along with hands-on opportunities to discover which method works best for them.
It's all about mingling, interacting, and exploring the many avenues of wellness! The event will have a gallery viewing of submitted artwork from local female artists. There will be 10-12 vending tables, all of which will provide different approaches, practices, and products that aid in wellness. Women will have the option to partake in small-scale wellness workshops consisting but not limited to instructed lesson on self-massage, a meditation session, vision board creation, speed-meeting (speed dating but for business collaboration), and an intention and affirmation station, all coupled with networking.
The Finding My Wings Wall will be present for women to donate to our Nonprofit Organization of the month. 100% of the proceeds from the interactive will be donated to Gardeneers, a nonprofit organization that is committed to cultivating customized school garden programs that ensure each space and the students and communities who care for it connect with healthy food and grow to their full potential.
The final hour of the event will have 3 performing artists, a short presentation with tips and trick on how to stay healthy despite a busy schedule, and two brief “commercials” from businesses about the resources they offer for women and wellness.
